Practices and Home Games are held on Turf Field #1 at the Oak Marr Rec Center (3200 Jermantown Rd, Oakton, VA 22124). This is the same field that our home games will be played on. As a reminder, please ensure your child comes prepared with all of his/her required equipment and a water bottle. We ask that you remain on the premises during practice times so that, in the event of inclement weather or an emergency involving your child, your coaches can reach you immediately.

We ask that your child arrive 15 minutes prior to his/her scheduled practice time so that they can be prepared to go once we take possession of the field.

In youth lacrosse, there are often times a drastic difference in skill levels. We will give all players an opportunity to play different positions and then select the most appropriate position for them so that they can gain a greater awareness of the position. We will place players in positions where we feel they have the best chance of being successful. We expect that at the Boys 12U and above and the Girls 7/8 and above they may begin to focus more intently on one position; however, they should have an understanding and an ability to play all positions. Playing time for scrimmages and games will be based primarily on attendance, effort, and behavior. While league rules state that players should play 25% of each game they attend, coaches will make every effort to ensure that each player’s playing time is maximized.
