FPYC Running Program Registration

Participants will also be required to purchase team uniforms.  Uniforms (shorts & singlet) are required for participation in FPYC Running and must be purchased at the beginning of the season (Price: $32/shorts & singlet; or $14/shorts and $18/singlet).  See Uniforms: Distribution & Policies for additional information.  NOTE: Athletes do not have to purchase a new uniform if they have one that fits from a previous FPYC Track or FPYC Cross-Country Season.*

*Please note that indication of uniform sizes on the registration form does not constitute a uniform order. Sizes provided on the registration form allow directors to order the appropriate number of sizes needed.

* Registration may be closed at any time bt the Director, when total and player-to-coach capacities are exceeded.


The Director of the FPYC Running program has the right to close on-line registration at any time, if registrations exceed our coaching capacity (we always welcome additional coaches – the more committeed coaches we have, the more registrations we can accept).

After on-line registration closes, paper registration forms will only be accepted at the discretion of the Director and an additional assessment may be added if the season has begun.

Due to a change (reduction) in the way FPYC is reimbursed from Fairfax County for providing needs-based registration “scholarships,” the FPYC Running program is no longer able to provide full registration waivers. A limited number of reduced-fee scholarships are available. In order to qualify, applicants must live in Fairfax County/City and receive assistance from one or more of the following programs: Free/Reduced School Lunch, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Aid for Dependent Children, Foster Care, or Medicaid. All applicants must also be enrolled in school (kindergarten through 12th grade). If your child meets these criteria, you MUST register in person and bring a copy of your proof of eligibility (statement, letter, etc.) with you to be considered. DO NOT COMPLETE THE ON-LINE REGISTRATION FORM. If you have questions, please contact Debi Honaker, FPYC Administrator at [email protected].

Confirmation e-mails are sent, usually within minutes, once on-line registration is completed. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION E-MAIL MESSAGE, YOUR REGISTRATION FORM ENCOUNTERED PROBLEMS OR WAS NOT COMPLETED (most often, there is a problem with the e-mail address that was provided during the process).
