FPYC Running needs volunteer coaches for cross country and track & field in order to continue growing the program and to have a good coach to athlete ratio at practices. No coaching experience is necessary, just the desire to help the athletes achieve their goals and have fun. We have a number of coaches who have been with the FPYC cross country and track & field programs for many seasons and can provide on-the-job training. Although we don’t require coaching experience, for track & field, the program would benefit from field event coaches with experience (shot put, long jump, and turbo javelin).
If you are interested in volunteering as a coach, please sign up on the FPYC registration page. Click on “Adult Volunteers Register Here.” If you have questions about volunteering, please contact the Directors of FPYC Running.
We respectfully ask that parents/guardians consult the website links for information about the program. Additionally, the list of FAQ on the main running webpage provides answers to many common questions. If you are unable to find the answers to your questions on the website, please feel free to contact the directors. Thank you.
